Rocky Mountain Power president and CEO Cindy Crane said: “The new wind projects are part of the company’s Energy Vision 2020 initiative, which will significantly expand the company’s Wyoming wind fleet and benefit the state and local economies. The new projects will be built with an estimated cost of approximately $1.5bn and are expected to create nearly 1,600 construction jobs in the area. It will be owned and operated by PacifiCorp, which will also be responsible for building and operating 250MW and 500MW wind projects in Carbon County, as well as a 500MW wind project in Albany, Wyoming. Cindy Crane has 28 years of experience in the electrical utility business.
